The VEX IQ Robotics Competition is hosted by VEX Robotics and is the world's largest robotics competition for students. The competition has two challenges: the Teamwork Challenge and the Robot Skills Challenge. In the Teamwork Challenge, two robots compete as an alliance in 60-second matches. In the Robot Skills Challenge, one robot scores as many points as possible. The field has 73 blocks of different sizes, and points are awarded based on the number, type, and height of blocks in each goal.
Robotics transcends mere robot construction, serving as a cornerstone for the next generation's education. It offers an immersive experience that nurtures vital competencies and attitudes, equipping children for a tech-driven future.
Through robotics, children tackle complex issues, fostering critical thinking, perseverance, and resilience, essential across all life aspects.
It makes learning Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) engaging and applicable, sparking enduring interest in these critical fields.
Robotics projects in teams bolster collaboration and interpersonal skills, fundamental for success in the digital age.
We are not just teaching children how to build robots; we are equipping them with the tools to build their futures.
Encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and experimentation, robotics teaches that failure is part of the creative process,
